New Sezam (Marszałkowska Center), Warsaw

Realization:

After many years, another interesting investment was launched in the center of the capital – the New Sezam (Marszałkowska Center). The first rounds began just in the middle of last decade. Preparations for construction lasted long due to the reservations of the conservator of monuments related to demolition of the old building and the search for a general contractor of the new investment.

The building that will be built on the site of the old Sezam building will have ten aboveground and three underground floors. The building will have about 13 000 m2 of office space. The underground storeys of the New Sesame building will be directly connected to the metro lines M1 and M2 (crossing Świętokrzyska and Marszałkowska streets). In this aspect, it will be the first and only such facility in Poland.

The next element distinguishing the new office building is to be bowing towards ecology. Five green terraces located at different levels, facilities for cyclists and users of public transport are not all the advantages of this investment. The office building will be certified “BREEAM” for energy efficiency and environmental performance at “very good” level.

Palisander supplies “New Sezam” with formwork systems and safety solutions on the construction site and adjoining areas – especially important in such a busy location as the center of Warsaw.
High-alloy work was supported with ID 15 towers and MEP supports. ID 15 towers are easy to assemble, reducing the time they take to climb. MEP supports, in turn, provide greater flexibility in adapting to the variable geometry of the ceiling and are an excellent complement to the tower support.
