Due to the epidemiological situation in our country, since April 2020 Palisander has created an internal procedure to prevent the spread of the SARS-COV-2 virus. The set of rules is based on the guidelines of the Ministry of Health. 1. Work carried out in shifts system has been introduced, both for office and warehouse staff, thus limiting the number of people present in individual areas. 2. An additional break has been introduced between shifts to ventilate and disinfect rooms. 3. Virucidal UVC lamps were purchased and placed in common areas, which clean the air of viruses and bacteria during the day. 4. Disinfectant liquid dispensers have been located in all corridors and common areas. 5. Boards with information about the adopted procedures have been placed in all common parts. 6. All employees have been provided with personal protective equipment, i.e., protective gloves, masks, and disinfectants 7. Internal rules for the movement of employees in common areas have been developed to minimize the contact of employees in the corridors. 8. An internal procedure for employees’ use of the company canteen has been developed, with different hours for meals scheduled for people working on different floors. 9. An internal set of rules for contacts between Palisander employees in business situations outside the company has been created – all employees must observe the rules of hygiene adopted by Palisander. 10. All common areas, such as handrails in staircases, door handles, elevator buttons, etc., are disinfected twice a day. The effectiveness of our measures was confirmed by the positive result of the inspection carried out in August 2020 by the Sanitary Inspection Authority.
